ls wire harness

I just got a 6.0 with the factory wire harness and ecm. I didnt realize how much wire harnesses there is on one of those things. Is there a wire harness made that I could use with the factory ecm that would be just the engine controls and nothing else?

Re: ls wire harness

Jesse at www.wait4meperformance.com can rework your existing harness to a stand alone, remove all the unneeded wiring and connections, and tune the PCM to delete all the unneeded sensors and remove VATS for $360. Just got mine back, about 1 week turnaround. I've used Jesse for several years now for tunes, never a problem. About a dozen wires to connect, everything else is plug-n-play.

Re: ls wire harness

The pic I posted is the original harness from the 2006 Silverado donor truck that has been reworked. Things that are not needed for a stand alone swap operation is removed, like the rear O2 sensors, EVAP, EGR (if equipped), etc.

And yes, I am running the original truck injection setup, for now. The engine will go in my 85 just as it came out of the 2006, just prettier!!
