Re: Project Old Blue, 1965 C10, Rebuild Version 2010
No trans cooler, I plan to run one similar to this:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DER-13262/?rtype=10 or since I work for a coil company, I can make one similar to this: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLX-3818-6/ I have not gotten anything done lately, I took my boys to my folks farm for the last weekend of deer season. While I was there, I picked up some of my old parts that I never got rid of like the seat and original steering wheel. The seat frame is rusted but salvageable and only needs new foam and 2 springs replaced.

Re: Project Old Blue, 1965 C10, Rebuild Version 2010
Well got a few (very few) things done this past weekend and last night. I got the rusted areas cleaned and treated and applied Eastwoods Rust Encapsulator on them. Painted my master cylinder and mounted it for now on the firewall. I am waiting on a fitting to continue with the front brakes. I would have pictures...but my camera would not turn on even with new batteries. Not sure what is wrong.
I also got some cleaning and painting on the motor done. Started on some of the brake lines for the front, got one side done, but I broke my good flaring tool. I hope I can fix it, can't afford another right now. My goal is to work on the brake lines and finish that this week. I need to get the trans done and then I can put the motor and trans in the frame to get more progress done. Again, sorry no pics, but I will get some when my camera is working again.
