Were the 15x8 CUCV style wheels offered on a K20/30?

Would look like the ones on my K5. If they where, what years should I be searching for?

I don't think a 15" wheel would fit on a K20/30 as they had Dana 60 rears with large drum brakes.

wide plain wheels came in various years, I know in the 70's for sure but they're all 16.5 inchers.

Look for "Kelsey Hayes 16.5" thats the military wheels.

Now the CUCV Blazers I believe had 15" wheels as they had 10 bolt axles.

You can run 15" wheels on 3/4 and 1 tons.

They never made a 15" factory 8 lug like that, but 16.5s up to 10" wide. I had a set of 8s on a truck built years ago, pretty cool look I think. If I didn't have a Ford axle up front, I'd wouldn't mind getting a set.

He wanted to know about 8 lug wheels for 3/4 and 1 ton pickups that looked like the blazer wheels.

Cool, that info helps. 16.5x9.75 would be nice to find with the hubcap nubs.

How difficult is it to find a set? Total hit or miss? I was going to call Stockton Wheel to see what they'd charge for new ones...

Re: Were the 15x8 CUCV style wheels offered on a K20/30?

Yikes, found their price sheet online:
$155ea for 16x10
$197ea for 16.5x9.75

That's raw, add $55ea for powder or '$85 for chrome.

Since I work for Discount Tire Co. I guess I'll just get some of our cheaper priced custom rims for the old K20 work-truck! The PO had a mis-matched set of '90's GM steel rims on it. I need new tires, just though some freshened rims would be nice too!

It's pretty hit or miss with them... might find a set in a junkyard for $100 maybe on ebay,... mostly depends on whos willing to part with a set and if they know what they've got...
