NOS stepside tailgate 67-72

Pics tomorrow, very good condition NOS stepside chevrolet tailgate, too nice for my build, not sure of worth, may have a small scuff or 2, nothing through the black to metal though, rather run a repro smoothe one than waste NOS on a semi rat rod build

I thought the stepside used the same tailgate from 54-87.

not too sure this is my first stepper, but here it is, small dent easy fix though

You can still buy them new from GM. I just bought one for 280 something from my local GM dealer.

thats a good deal, even lmc lists them at $489, if they still sell them I may just use it, figured they would be hard to find so I didn't want to waste a NOS part on my build, thanks for the info

If LMC has a GM part you better believe it'll be way more than it sold for.I see these go for as much as $300.Not everyone goes to the dealerships and many dealerships discourage those seeking older parts with their reluctance.

good to know, I will probably use it then, no reason to sell it if they're that cheap and anything NOS will fit properly without dickin around, thanks for the insight

Yeah I totally understand that a lot of people don't try dealerships. I just know everyone that works there (I used to work there and my dad pulled 27years there) so they'll try and help me out if they can. I bet if someone off the street walked in it would probably be a little more. And I usually try and take them part numbers so it'll be a little easier.
