what do u think of this stock/custom touch

the ac/heat control i customer fit into my 87 chevy it came out of a 90 or 91 conversion van i like it cus its a lil more colorful than the stock one

87 chevy Silverado-

Did you use the whole unit? Those van AC/Heat lens are a little longer, so if you use it on a stock unit the lever doesn't line up with the correct mark if i remember correctly.

Mod looks good by the way.

u are correct so i used the hole unit and modified it to fit the dash

thanks for the comments all my dad was take the brackets of and left the hole there and drilled new holes in the dash an zip tied it in and it works great i have to adjust it next tome dash is out cuz the switch doesn't go all the way to hight cuz it sits to hight other than that u cant tell the difference

that looks good,when i did my vintage a/c install the kit calls for a non a/c control panel which they don't supply.well,a non a/c panel has no a/c function on the control.so,i went to one of those vinyl decal places and they made me a overlay.this is kinda a cruddy pic.it looks better in real life.

he was a local "yokel'.but,i think alot of towns have a sign shop/vinyl place.longview is only 35,000 so it isn't a big town.
