Seats???

I have a 1971 Blazer. I'm toying with the idea of swapping my NOS seats with more updated seats... say out of a Tahoe. Ideally, I'd like captain chairs up front with a console/3rd seat (so maybe a 60/40 split), then a bench in back.

Anyone have updated seats? What's the secret to getting the right ones (easiest to mount, certain year Tahoe that works best...)

Re: Seats???

I put a seat set out of a 96 or 97 ish dodge ram truck up front. 40/20/40 I love them there were only minor mods to get them to fit in existing mounting holes and a keyed power and ground wire to get the electric seat belts to work which are in the seats. they sit great. I also put a third row removable seat out of a ford expedition in for the back seat. It reclines, folds, slides and has 3 seat belts. I hinged the front so it folds up and built the rear recessed floor locking buckets for the rear attachments. The folding is great for hauling stuff without having to unbolt anything. Two leverlocks and push up.
