Re: "Project S" - My boy Sam's '72 2wd Blazer -The Red Sled
Luckily, my blazer came with a set of new oem window rubber for the top. Plus one of the other tops still has good glass and rubber in it so I'm double covered.

Hopefully I'll only use the top in the winter, but I still want it to look good. I haven't got it rigged up yet, but I've been holding on to this for a long time with hopes of having a "one man" top removal system. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: "Project S" - My boy Sam's '72 2wd Blazer -The Red Sled
yeah, I was thinking of one of the simpler versions where you back in the garage, raise the front of the top and slide a 2x4 under it, then raise the back and do the same, then just drive out from under. With air suspension it'd be even easier, air the truck up, lift the top on the supports, then air the truck out and drive out easily. To put it back on just back under it and reverse the order. Nowhere near as high tech as yours but simple and cheap.
Someone on here did it that way, some one also did it the way you're thinking. They both work.
