Converting to rear discs, do I need to change the rear brake lines to a smaller size?

Just curious. I saw some mention that I should change the rear 1/4 line to a 3/16 line when converting to rear disc bakes.

Mine are 3/16 only reason I did tho is to get one roll same size.. don't know why you would have to its moving fluid the same amount.. not like its gonna move more or less fluid.

Get adjustable proportioning valve for it that will adjust the difference

I was curious as well why it would make a difference. Cleaner for me to leave it 1/4 which is what I would rather do.

Proportioning valve is on the way. Was also thinking about replacing the master cylinder as well.

Mine has a factory style aluminum master ith plastic resovior.. only reason you would have to swap it is if your rear chamber was a lot smaller and couldn't handle the demand of fluid needed going to disc calipers.

The only reason for a larger reservoir is because of the larger volume of a caliper vs a cylinder, when the pads wear(piston moves outward) you have to refill the drum master, has nothing to do with flow or demand.
