Re: PDF copies of 67-72 GM truck Service Manuals
Quote:
600 pages is roughly 1.2 reams of 8.5x11 paper for around $7.00... not to mention TONER... 600 pages is roughly 17% of my 10,000 page HP61X toner cartridge capacity in my Laserjet 4100DTN or $28 in toner. It's pretty rough on the printer to slam 600 pages in one shot without cooling down. Most MFG consider this HEAVY HEAVY use. $300 home-use printers will not take that kind of use for long. Look in your manual for the recommended duty cycle. My HP is a 10 year old Enterprise class medium office machine and HP didn't recommend more than 1,000 pages per day. At $35 to print one manual it's way cheaper to buy used manuals on eBay for $15 + $5 shipping per book or worst case just print a few pages pertaining to the job at hand.
