Talking Just to keep active, here is what I am in the middle of doing to my burb

I have removed all the wiring, adding in a new wire harness with buss type fuses, pulled the two small gas tanks out, and adding in an original 45 gallon single tank.

New rear springs, new performance shocks and a set of load helpers and a class 3 hitch......

Trailer brake control to be installed as part of wire upgrade.

A few other minor upgrades that were needed, like changing the boneheaded previous owners boneheaded mistake of NOT removing the resistor wire when he converted to HEI....ahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhhhhhhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahbwaaaaahhhhhaaaahahahahahah ahah.

9 out of 10 personalities agree that under-powering your coil is bad for your engine.........

the tenth one is in the corner trying to zap fleas off of his skin with a hand held stun-gun...........

Re: Just to keep active, here is what I am in the middle of doing to my burb

Here are a couple of pics. The cab shot shows 1/2 of the new harness done. The hood shot is post demo, but no new wire has been done. some old harness wire left to use as a pull wire.

Progress is slow due to my back, but we have managed to get the under the hood almost done. Trying to finish the under the hood portion done this weekend.

Cab is mostly done, with the exception of the new digital dash, will take new pics this weekend.

In the hood shot, you can see the new grill already installed.
