SCOTI,... could you use that "Rock Guard" style coating on the inside of them?
Not sure what anyone is doing with the aftermarket fiberglass front tubs to prevent damage from rocks.
Maybe it's all about fiberglass thicknesss.

Exactly. Even on the front tubs for my dually, I plan to bond something underside.

I worry about debris damaging them & wondering if an aluminum sheet bonded to the bottom might help w/that. Your thoughts?

The tubs are about 3/16" to 1/4" thick, extremely sturdy. I don't think it's an issue with the fiberglass cracking, I think it's more of an issue with the paint cracking. With that being said, I plan on spraying the underside of mine (front and rear) with a rubberized coating, such a Line-x or Speedyliner. I have a lot friends that have built high dollar glass street rods and that's what they have used with great success. Thanks for the great questions and feedback!
