BB Mounts / Perches

Ok, I've been researching bb motor mounting options.

I have these brackets that came in a box of spare parts. From what I can tell they are 73-87 brackets.

Anybody know if they will work to mount a 454 to a 68 C30?

Lots of info in the forum but I can't seem to get a firm conclusion.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Re: BB Mounts / Perches

Those look to be the 73 and newer mounts, and i have heard they will work fine but you may have to drill an extra hole or 2. I have not done the swap myself...

Re: BB Mounts / Perches

I tried doing this mod with less than favorable results, you'll have to drill some new holes and elongate some existing. I wasn't happy with them. So I went and got the sheet metal mounts from cpp, wish I would have done that in the first place
