Re: 62 Burb project in the making.
Thought we could put the engine in today but ran into a snag.
The Novak hydraulic clutch slave cylinder setup needs to have a long throw out bearing so I need to get that before putting the engine in as we want to adjust it on the floor. |

Re: 62 Burb project in the making.
I never got a gauge put in. I knew how far I could go on a tank so would fill it before it ran out. The 73-81 use a different ohm than the stock. I tried to use a gauge from those years and cut down the backing but didn't work. As far as the support, I actually removed on to fit the tank in. I will try to find the pic of it in, from underneath and post it later.

Re: 62 Burb project in the making.
[QUOTE=sirJim;7976192]Interesting to see the original tank. Mine had a curved tank to make room for the spare tire. But the shipping company butchered that one.[/QUO
My spare is laying on the floor inside. I have a bracket that screws to the sidewall when I don't have the big 2nd seat in. It's something the original owner made. |
