Hey TrapShooter, welcome to the boards. You're asking for the golden items of the L6 trucks out here. The only place you can get the lower thermostat housing is junk yard or at 12Bolt. There will probably be others who have parts. Myself, I've got a complete 230 Carb to Pan just gathering dust, waiting for it's time or project. Sorry - I am collecting those for my own trucks - annoyingly hard to find and when you do, sellersd want 75 - 100 bucks each for them! I'm not paying that for old rusty wheels I still have to pay someone to blast and paint

The three things I am looking for are;
-Right hand side early style cast mirror arm
-Metal style 'NoSpin' tag
-Step side tail lights and/or brackets.

Right hand cast arms are 60 & 61 specific, so very hard to find since next to none came with them. I don't have any I can let go

Metal No Spin is also a difficult thing to find since almost all had a reflective decal which they reproduce. Since its behind the seat and the metal tag requires screws you will be happier with a decal. No one is going to see it anyway

Step side taillights are one of those throw away items I never recommend anyone re-using because of today's behavior in other drivers - don't skimp on taillights - even to save a patina look - its just not worth it. I got mine cheap from www.classicparts.com

-Yea, I know the cast pass arm is a long shot, but had to ask

-Mainly looking for the tail light brackets, if I did find some nice lights they would of course get LED retro lamps like all my other 60's junk

-Have my heart set on a pre- zip code 'Detroit 13' tag, which unfortunately they don't reproduce. When I find one it's going on the dash, as I prefer that to the factory location.

I know my buddies dad's 3/4 ton truck had the no-spin plate riveted on the dash and he bought it new. Can't remember the exact year. 62-66. Can't remember if it was a knee knocker or not. Was only 10-15 and not interested in it at that time.What are the no-spin tags worth. I have one out of a 59 chevy?
