Re: Rear Sliding Window

I have this one for 73 and up, the manufacture is in the box. I bought this in 1999 and have held on to it. Maybe help in searching the manufacture as a reference. Company long gone.

The picture is for dark glass manufacture, not original

Re: Rear Sliding Window

OK. I am confused. Are you looking to buy one, or selling one you have? If selling, I cannot believe someone here isn't looking. If you are looking to buy one, then I guess it makes more sense.

If you are selling one, my kid might be interested.

Re: Rear Sliding Window

I have been looking for a GM one or equivalent for 20 years and I have had no luck.

I think you are going to be patient as more people look at this thread and respond.

I would pay $500 for one.

Re: Rear Sliding Window

What I have been considering since it seems CRL is offering the replacement window in only in black and solar tint now. Purchase the new window. Disassemble and blast black frame back to aluminum color then seal. Have new glass in my preferred tint cut and install.

Re: Rear Sliding Window

GM. I hope all is well. DM me contact info. I may have found what you are looking for. #1 it’s an original window. #2 it has a few dings on the aluminum shell. I don’t need a reward. I’m just looking for a truck buddy that may have truck part resources.

Re: Rear Sliding Window

I wish you good luck in your search and will keep an eye out. As an alternate plan should a NOS example never materialize consider refurbishing an OEM example - I did the same and it's not too hard to do. Make sure its an OEM unit with screws that affix the frame components rather than a similar design that uses welds.

The GMC looks great btw...

This is an opinion I definitely respect. I am with the corresponding alternative as OEM there is no problem .

I understand you sir, but I need one that is free from scratches or very clean as new. I will be doing a major project for the gmc 1971 Truck and I cannot install one with scratches or dents
