Have you ever tried this stuff? FlexSeal

I have not used it, but it looks like it might be a good for inside doors, cab corners, and the firewall for heat and noise insulation.

Thanks. It helps the tank was in good shape to start with.

In this truck I just used the temp stuff, my other truck I used both, they work very good. Keeps a lot of the heat from the motor and sun out. The sound makes the cab feel very solid. I put both inside, with a gallon you can do floor, fire wall, back of cab and roof. It also adds a waterproof layer, I also just sprayed the temp stuff in my sons Jeep CJ6

I'm not sure how much temp control it will do the Lizard skin temp control has little ceramic balls mixed in, but if you put a good layer of that stuff on it should add some sound insulation.

Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

Today I did a few little things, but my trans cooler came in so I got it tacked in before I had to go to work. It's a Derale 16 pass with a 10" fan. I tried a few spots behind the cab and thought this should give some air flow while driving.

Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

Saturday my son and I painted the interior of Darel, Platinum gray. Turned out really nice. Dash, front of seat riser, door jams, back of cab.

I have seen lots of people put them under the floor boards on cars and seem to work ok we will have much better air on the trucks.

Re: 1950? S-10 tdi

Fuel tank is in and hooked up down to the fuel filter. Peddles, steering column, ebrake peddle and speakers. It's all going to plan so far.
