I guess the motor is supposed to go next to the seat? Weird.

Re: GRIZZ’s English 2001 S10 Extra Cab 4.3 V6 Truck

A great weekend in Kent.

Sally wanted to get some plants in.

My back continues to say NO.

So she did it all.

I paid.

Strong woman.

Also on the agenda was the go kart that Sally and Mickey unloaded after telling me off and telling me to step back.

Rear wheels and axle are rusted solid, so I called on my last can of bootfair bargain Duck oil, to hopefully penetrate sufficiently.

Offset seating to accommodate the side mounted motor on these.

Two Nylocs, finger tightened held theone side crash protector.

3 minutes to remove.

Thats better.

Sally worked in the garden, I cooked a nice Beef Bhuna curry, now the house smells of air freshener, after having doors and windows open.

A great weekend over all too soon.

Re: GRIZZ’s English 2001 S10 Extra Cab 4.3 V6 Truck

i love battle weary flags.

Mate Gary, Mr Zog in Florida recently messaged me to see if I wanted his old flags before he replaced them.

Of course, I also offered to pay the postage.

Today the postman brought a box.

Surprise

Included was a t-shirt hoody I had asked him to get for Sally.

Loads of things, including a new embroidered Stars and Stripes....

And these brilliant license plate screws,]]

Ideal for a personal plate.

Also happening currently, 4 houses from me, not ideal for a truly knackered back......

A partial house demolition and rebuild

Resulting in so much free wood.

All going to be burned.

Licensed to scavenge.

So over the next few days, with Sally as primary donkey, I will be dragging some of this lumber home, firstly to be de-nailed and to remove all the screws, then store it for further use.

Including garden bed edging and some shoring for the new concrete driveway strips.

Weekend soon.

.

A small, vital to me parcel landed yesterday.

Thanks Ric, and seeing a rust free, like new.... 20 year old tailgate cable stay is quite refreshing.

Thanks again for the parts for my truck.

So.

If we go for a set of pressed steel American style plates

What plate surrounds?

One in front, one in the rear.

Or this.
