I had to look it up too! In fact, just to remove the old mount the OP had on the roof I had to join a CB Radio forum to ask a few questions. Seems NMO stands for "Non Motorola"....which apparently is just the new style of antenna mount that seems to be the universal standard.

Bought a vintage CB to complete the look. Hoping to start putting the interior back together in the next few weeks.
