I never have been able to make it to that event. I would bet a dollar that you drove within 5 to 10 minutes of my house on the way.

Actually, no we didn't. We left Natchitoches, LA as a group, went across Toledo Bend into TX, then made our way on backroads through Nacogdoches, Palestine, etc. It's a longer (time-wise) trip, but much more enjoyable than running Interstate all the time.

I'll take my dollar now!
