I will Sub and check it out when I get home.

I doubt I will be in the area.

Preciate the Offer.

I really like that you are Restoring that place.

I am Subbed to the channel.

Kobe reminds me of My Retriever/ Full of energy.

Several years ago,
I made Friends with people From Italy,
that worked in the USA.

They returned home when the Company file Bankrupted.

This place I was employed, Refurbished the molds that make tile.

I learned alot from them.

They shared their culture and knowledge.

I even learn several words from the Language.

Some that need not repeat.

My Friends I made would probably be glad to hang out with you.

Samuel and Victorio and Anna Rosa may live close to you?

buona fortuna on the remodel.

Very Nice! What part of Italy? An old family friend was with Patten's army from North Africa, Sicily and up thru Italy all the way to the Swiss border and he always spoke of how beautiful Italy was and its ancient Architecture.

I subscribed. This is right up my alley. Except the house I live in (that I restored) and the places I work on are new. You know, like 1700s-1800s and maybe early 1900s. I'd love to see Italy and pay you a visit. When I travel I don't do the tourist things. I like to experience the real life of the people and go where each day leads me

Yea, tile and stone (especially marble) are big business here.
Do you know where your Italian friends live in Italy?
I'm in the region of Le Marche (pronounced lay markay).

Re: Ok, seriously off topic but I'm gonna ask anyway

I'm in central Italy on the east coast. Everyone's heard of Tuscany. It's on the west coast. I'm directly east of Tuscany, right on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.

This country is absolutely beautiful. There's so much to see here. Many tourist only visit the cities they've heard of. To me, the big tourist areas have lost their authenticity. That's what I like about my area. The food, language, and traditions are all intact. Oh, and the women...goodness

Hey, you are more then welcome to come visit! You'll like my area. We consider it Italy's best kept secret because it hasn't become the Disneyland of Italy like Tuscany. Yet, it is just as beautiful.

I will have to ask.

Does Saswalla ring a bell?

I know that is not spelled right.

The Martinnelli family is the ones that I was employed with.

I am in love with one of their daughters

That is exactly what I would want to see and experience. Thank you for invitation. I also love motorcycles and I know they are well loved in Italy, by many. I knew an older Italian man (stone mason) who came here when very young. The first thing he did was go to the Daytona cycle races. Our friendship began when he saw I was wearing a Harley Davidson t-shirt. I suppose I do have some interest in the ladies as well. I tend to understate a bit

Re: Ok, seriously off topic but I'm gonna ask anyway

Italy is on our list of places to visit on retirement. Talked to a couple of our other retired friends about possibly renting a house for a month. It would be our home base and we could see other parts of Europe from there.
