Re: 1968 Fan Shroud

I got mine from LMC Truck. My SBC is in the I6/4WD rearward position closer to the firewall, so I got a 4WD fan shroud, p/n 32-2826.

Thanks Amigo! Yeah, Frankintruck has a 350 cobbled into were a I6 used to be, so it is looking like Frankies engine is back closer to the firewall also.

Re: 1968 Fan Shroud

I got one from LMC for my '70 C10. The quality was great. BUT, the warning stickers were on the bottom instead of the top. After trying to fit it and failing, I realized the I had the whole thing upside down because of the stickers. After I carefully peeled and repositioned the stickers it was great. 350, 4spd, all stock locations.

Re: 1968 Fan Shroud

Yep FedX says it will be here tomorrow !
Frankintruck came without a thermostat or a fan shroud. Now as it's starting to warm up here in The Great Desert Southwest, I understand why Frankintruck didn't have a thermostat...it didn't have a fan shroud.....
I hope this shroud will fit in there alright over that cobbled 350 wing ding fan......
The radiator is cobbled in too, it's Huge!

Re: 1968 Fan Shroud

Maybe there's no shroud because of the "cobbled 350 wing ding fan". Guess you'll find out soon!

Re: 1968 Fan Shroud

Tim's deal worked good with a little bit of finessing.
Didn't have to drill any holes or use any bailing wire.
And yes it's keeping the temp down.....

Thanks!
