Door locks

Got 3 doors. Locks won't move on any of them (I mean the pull up, push down stuff and not the key)
How come?
Rods bent or something?
Thanks

prally gonna have to remove the inside door panels and ck and see what's up. I know when I bought my truck, my pass. side would not move and neither would lock. Still not a lot of room to work in there, but the mechanics are pretty simple and everything needed some lubrication. Good Luck

Don't use WD40 if you want them to keep working. It will free them up, but they will rust worse than ever within a few months. Get a spray can of the white moly grease. You can get it at any auto parts store. WD40 sucks.

Smile

This is what I would try first. If you roll the windows down, you can get the small tube of a penetrating fluid in the opening above the latch and spray it. Try to miss the window felt. If it is a sticking problem, this will usually work. I pretty well soak it down with Aero-kroil when I run into this problem. If you can't get the locks to work this way, it usually means that the latch has to be replaced because of wear in the mechanism.
