Have you replaced the battery on this thing yet? I can't remember if you bought one already.

I'll find it eventually. I'm trying the easy stuff first.

I need valve cover gaskets too.

Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

I put a new tranny modulator on and it seemed to help. Time will tell though. I took the dust cover off and it looks good and dry for the most part so I don't think my front seal is leaking. The dip stick housing looked dry too just dirty so I'll leave it for now. I put my new all thread on my spare tire holder. To my disappointment the new old stock nut that I bought for it didn't look like my original one so I put a washer above it and a safety nut under it. So all is good now. I did find a good leak today though. The after market tranny cooler thats in front of my radiator is dripping. I know now how the front bumper and frame got all caked. I will order some new tranny cooling lines and put it back right. I also hooked up my license plate light and repaired the front turn signal light that was losing its ground.

Re: Chucks 72 Cheyenne Custom Camper

I noticed some good dryrot on my tires today so I priced some new tires today and took my father in law for a ride. He likes old trucks too, he just can't drive anymore.

So my to do list is as follows as of right now.

tranny cooling lines
tires
wiring up the trailer wiring
brake controller
patch up the floor, the ugly way.
shocks
driveshaft rebuild (u-joints and carrier)

Are you saying caulking isn't the correct way? Oops.

Haha, If the intention is to keep out the cold and rain until a proper repair can be done then I'll allow it lol.
