57taskforce, I lied about having the baling wire ready. I was trying to give him zip ties. He requested the baling wire.

Yep, he may not be a hillbilly, but he is a redneck.

And a pretty darn good guy.

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me

Those zip ties are still floating around on the floor
I had to buy another roll
And
Made a custom backing plate
So it won’t stick to the bedding

It’s holding up pretty good so far

I did end up having time for another stop
Paid my admission once I entered the place
They had the rules posted

Gotta love it..

I believe you mentioned being in MA at the beginning of June. The Nantasket car show is a pretty good mix of vehicles.

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me

That pseudo-psychedelic advertisement art from GM is fantastic. I remember seeing some of that at the time and thought nothing of it, but that CB radio one is far out! The display of the various spheres at Tellus was very well done and cool to see. Thanks for posting.

Re: your comment "These vehicles have already been saved. Most of these cars would have been in the crusher long ago".
We have different definitions of the word "saved"
My comment wasn't meant to take away from your or anyone's experience of visiting that place, but for me, it would be somewhat akin to someone who takes in rescue dogs going to the shelter and not being able to take all of them home.

Tellus was actually a great museum
My grandparents were rockhounds
So many of the displays brought back good memories
For me

All good

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me

Eric, if you wind your way thru Shenandoah valley of Virginia I can point you to some cool stuff... Skyline drive/ the blue ridge parkway is awesome and your little casa on wheels should be fine up there, Luray Caverns and Cooters are both in Luray, Harpers Ferry WV is another awesome place.

https://cootersplace.com/
Cooters in in Tennessee too so you might be able to catch one of his stores down there. Well worth the time if you ever enjoyed the show.
