Re: Project: white knight 1967 step

Just a general update . Thanks for all the concern , I am getting stronger everyday . Lots of excersise and walking around a 1/8 th mile a day . I checked on the 49' friday and the inner fenders are painted . They were assembling the front clip and bed for the finish paint on the outside . I'll get some new pics of the 67' & 49' up soon .

Re: Project: white knight 1967 step

Couldn't stand it today . I pulled it out and took 2 degrees of timing out of it in the driveway , re adjusted the carb , and took it for a drive . It still has a touch of hesitation on transision to the main jets , but i eased through that and she laid down a good 50' of rubber . I also cracked a Mazda Miata's ass from a dead stop . Re adjusted the carb again and drove it home . It is running really good . I think im gonna have the Fastburns put back on this truck with the ported dual plane . The trans is not shifting up on it's own , im having to manual shift it . I'll look into this this week . Thanks to everyone who has keep me in there thought 's , it has paid off . Im getting better everyday . I will probably never heads up drag race like before , but i can still bracket race !

Well guys i regret to inform you that the truck has a new home . I really didn't want to sell it , but with the back injury and my current situation i needed to . I got every penny i had invested in it back and it was a joy to own . I am now very close to dept free . My wife is mad and i miss the truck , i did it for my family .

Now bring on that black truck i still got a 383 . RBT ? maybe next .

Very sorry to here you had to sell it. But I can really understand. Wish I was debt free or close to it.
We definitely have another for you when you get ready.
How is the back doing?

That sucks, but I think we all can feel the crunch, and then with medical issues on top of it all. I'm sure you'll get another. Is the Camaro on the chopping block yet?
