No I sure don't. I remember in the 90s in the sport truck magazines a fiberglass company had them and I didn't like the way they looked and couldn't figure out why anyone would want less clearance. I will see if I can find something on them though. May have to pull some old magazines out of some boxes.

I want to say that the company was something like U.S. Body Source.

Edit: I think US Body Source is correct. Their website does not have a picture but lists a "step down" hood for the 73-80. part # FCG-27 $399. I suppose you could contact them and see if they have any pictures on file.

They also have convertible pickup cabs.....

http://www.usbodysource.com/

Edit II: Found a picture of the hood alone.

They built them like that to increase visibility.

I knew US body still had them on their site, but can't find any good pics on a truck.

Here's mine with the "fun tires" that stay mounted on black Cragar Soft 8 steel wheels and the radials riding in the bed. This was taken during our local cruise-in.

Awesome pics Max!! Good job with getting back to the show scene. Your buddys C10 is awesome as hell too. As stated by MrPops, it cruses way low, the shot looking at it from the front looks like it's about to drag front bumper. WAY COOL

And whenever you want to post more pics of your rocker or your friends truck, please go right ahead and do it.

Anywhere, maybe the thread titled "How about some pics of shortbed trucks" or something like that.
