Re: Our new 69C10 project

Well the boys and I stayed up late and finished the wiring, installed the LED tail lights and the markers, then finished the passenger body and tailgate molding on the truck this afternoon. Now next week finish the exhaust, front end final adjustments and hopefully be ready fro the car show next weekend. Still one more cut, buff and polish and work out any bugs but very close and she`s looking like a runner again. Thanks for all the support here in the forum, we will keep at it, with all the help from my boys and support from my wife my dream truck is finally here, but wait I can make it better

Re: Our new 69C10 project

There is a cruise in, car show in Canby next weekend, brings about 600 cars and trucks at wait park, I think its the 25th from 9-5pm, I thinks its one of the best outdoor events around and always has the best cars, 50s 60s music and food. Off the finish the exhaust today!

My son and I are planning to be there. We'll be sure to look you up and introduce ourselves. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing the results of all the hard work you and your boys have put in. See you Saturday.

Re: Our new 69C10 project

Hey everybody it's Scotts son Wyatt. Well, we got the truck all shined up and I finished the model of it too last night at midnight. We headed out to the show at about 7 30am and when we got to the show, there where already more than 700 cars. Man people said that they came the day before and slept in their cars! Found our spot and parked the trucks (I brought mine) and then set up camp. (and nobody saw me driving, im only 14 but drive everyday in the 72) Had tons of people come up and look and ask questions through out the day, and at 2 they started handing out awards. I entered in best stock interior but no luck… But on the bright side we took home the best truck award! Man, first show and we won. Pics coming soon.
