Re: Gas Prices?
Got a couple gallons of non-ethanol a few days ago for my small engines. $15.50. Glad I don't use a lot of it.

Re: Gas Prices?
Well we jumped from $2.93 a week ago to $3.09 yesterday. Takes a week to ten days to go down just a few cents and jumps up 16 cents in just over a week's time.

Re: Gas Prices?
It had been down to nearly $3.00 here, pretty much everywhere, lower in a few places. Then it jumped right back up to $3.25?

Re: Gas Prices?
$ 3.07 here yesterday. The hour to hour range, of late...$ 2.97 to $ 3.10. 93 Octane is 50 cents more. Everything I run is recommended 93. Not complaining...my choice. All but the C10 can run on regular.
None of them are getting many miles these days. The Queen has been working home from since March of 2020. My shop is 3 miles away. |

Re: Gas Prices?
Ours jumped up to $3.29 most places. Higher places are at $3.39. The place I paid $3.06 is now $3.15. I noticed another place at that price today.

Re: Gas Prices?
The price of oil is going up so gas is too.
With the US/Russia tensions where they are, expect oil price to remain high for a while.

Re: Gas Prices?
That's odd looking. Around here the octane ratings are lowest to the left and moving up to the right.
BTW, What's up with the bigger price differences between octane lately? Back in the day, the difference was only 10 cents or so per gallon, then it jumped up to maybe 20-25, but now it has gone crazy? Does anyone know why?

Re: Gas Prices?
Just went up to $3.54. Yesterday was $3.39, last Thursday $3.29.
Two weeks ago was $3.15, nearly a forty cent increase in two weeks alone. I'm sure it'll be $4.00 by St Patrick's day, shoot maybe sooner. Something is going to blow soon... Last edited by 68panelman; 02-08-2022 at 11:56 AM. Reason: Changed thirty to forty cent (bad with math ;) |

Re: Gas Prices?
Yep and I remember when it got this high last time. Discretionary spending for many folks will come to a halt. When the commute to work bill doubles in a short period of time somethings gotta give. It's about $3.05 to $3.09 yesterday. I'll check again shortly when I head to town.

Re: Gas Prices?
It has been $3.99 for low grade and $4.39 for diesel here in NW.
I just don't know how small delivery companies and independent truckers do their business.

Re: Gas Prices?
$3.69 this week. Glad I have a company truck I drive mostly everywhere.
And $125+ Per barrel oil is looking pretty likely before the end of the year. We’ve been ramping up and focusing on our oil production at work a lot more in the last few months than we have in quite a good while. We are getting $6.38/MCF for natural gas this month as well. A few years ago we were lucky to get $2-2.50.
