Re: Project. Long Overdue

Wow!! You have gotten quite a bit done in the past month! I know we don't see everything that has been done and the holidays take alot of our time from these projects. The stance looks killer! Can't wait to see a video of your truck with smoke boiling from the tires, or just cruizin along would be fine too!

Yeah I'm having some OCD getting the right grey. Plus it doesn't help that I'm alittle color blind and all the greys look green!

Thank You Sir! I for one am happy the holidays are over, I love this time of year but am always happy afterward. I can't wait to do a big greasy burn out right down the street. The nice thing is out of the 5 neighbors I have 4 of them are hot rod people, so someones always doing burn outs right out front. In the summer it looks like a dragstrip.

Re: Project. Long Overdue

I didn't get as much done as I hoped, But I did make some progress. Cleaned and painted the rear bumper brackets, finished polishing the valve covers, found my stainless bumper bracket pieces that fit between the bed and bumper to cover the brackets, still need to polish them though. I gave up early today because this white stuff started falling. My son and the neighbor boys were having a good ol'time in it, one in shorts, one in PJ's, and My son who actually had some pants on today.

Re: Project. Long Overdue

Got the rear bumper/brackets/stainless covers installed today. It was dry for a bit today so I rolled her out and snapped a few pics.

I started working on the engine harness, discovered that it has been "hacked into" so much that I'm not going to use it. Anybody have a good line on a new harness? Thanks for checking in!

Thanks. I will look into AAW. I'm not much of an electrical guy.

Thanks man. I will do my best. I'm for sure going to get a new engine, headlight, rear harness. Last thing I need is a electrical fire after all this work.

Thanks Raul. I'm not sure yet, I'm going back and forth on them. What do you think?

Thanks Mike. I guess I'm getting old, but I don't wear shorts until it hits 70 degrees. All his friends are the same way, he even had flip flops on in that picture.

Yeah alittle. I have been working on a little things, nothing really pic worthy. I'm almost there, still have a few parts to buy and finish up the exhaust. Thanks for checking in.

Re: Project. Long Overdue

Few update pics, not much really. I have been just working on some little things that seem to take forever to do. Inner fenders all color sanded and polished, installed radiator hoses, heater hose, fuel lines, plugs, wires, detailing under the truck from some overspray, all the stuff I have been putting off for awhile now.

I ordered a bunch of (shiny) parts yesterday from my buddy Rick at Chevy Metal. you guys should check out his website www.chevymetalparts.com, he has some good stuff and is a good dude.

I picked up the new rear bumper, Engine harness yesterday and will get those installed this weekend. Thanks for checking in. Later.
