Rick its nice to see your doing a great job! If you didnt know I'll be moving to your side of the country (Spokane WA) Still a ways off but I'll have to get down your neck of the woods for some truck talkin and rustfree parts (Gonna try'n build me another truck on the W coast and leave my blue truck parked at home, too far to drive it)

Keep it up maybe its roadleegal soon?...
AWESOME! thank you thank you, and heres the deal. you come down to a****er and ill show you all the guys i know around here ( some are on here and some arent members) and we can bullshnit and talk trucks, sound good? and ill take you for a ride in the 67 and for your last question, my goal is to have it legally driving to C/10 kings october car show!

well i didnt do anything to my truck except drive it out and drive it in the garage. but yesterday i started the lein on my truck so as soon as i recieve the papers there sending i will keep them for 30 days and after that i can start registering it here at our DMV. so it will be legal soon.
the other day i instlled brand new window anti-rattles and new felt in the door frame. so passenger side is down just need to do driver side... i would have got it done already but the screw stripped out on the door panel so.. i gotta grind it off or i can get the vise grips out and persuade it out.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Congrats on the license man! Good work on the truck too. That tach dash looks good man. The red needles definately suits your style! Did u use actual needle paint on them? Good luck with the glass. I've been hearing of that happening quite a bit. Kinda has me worried for when I replace mine. I wonder if it's the glass itself or what?

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

the fact that the glass has a curve to it makes it hard on the glass to flex without cracking (thats what ive gathered from my experience with them) i used chevy orange engine paint on them actually, my needles and engine are all same color (i thought it would be cool for them to match engine)

well going to turlock swap meet tomorrow... hope i can get some goodies!

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

YOu know I been workin on old cars/trucks since I was 19 and my first vehicle was a 64 chevy shortfleet and miss that truck. I am 28 now and if it wasnt for my dad I would be lost. Now I am older and tired of playing games on the streets I am takin it serious whether it is my truck or life in general. Keep working at that electrical. You will get it down. Sometimes just taking a step back and takin a break helps. Just dont take to long of a break cause then ya get lazy haha :P GLAD I could make you laugh!

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Sorry you are having wiring issues.
My advice is to buy a Volt/Ohm meter and start testing resistances on grounds and a test light to check for power on every wire involved, there is a sneak wire somewhere that is bitting you in the ass, but if you go wire by wire you will find it.
Its not like the wiring is complicated on that thing it wont take long to run it down.
Another thought and this is the part im not an expert on BUT im wondering if different years had different pinouts on the wiring for the front/rear brake light/turn signal harness and maybe you are mixing harnesses causing problems for yourself not even realizing it, like for instance if you are running 67-68 main harness and a 69-72 brake light/turn signal harness or vice versa, its worth checking into anyway imo.
Also make sure you have all the ground straps you are supposed to have on the truck.
