Here is what she looks like now. We will be working on getting the back axle in alignment between the wheel wells and then figuring out what adapter size we really want to get the spacing right.

BTW, anyone know of any negative impact of rotating the back of an alternator housing? We had to rotate ours because the battery post on the alt came way too close to the valve covers. We read online somewhere you could do that so we did.

Thanks, man! Definitely will. In fact, I'm a little behind on updating on our progress. Will try to get it updated this weekend. But a teaser is that I'm working on figuring out how to post some video to You Tube to link to here. Something I haven't tried before so we'll see. It'll be worth it if I figure it out though!

Looks great! super progress. Hey, I don't think rotating the rear alternator housing will change the performance.

Thanks, Mike. I'm hoping it doesn't. Haven't had a chance yet to test output to see what its doing.

Sadly, we don't know much about the cam (or cams in general for that matter). The only number the previous owner could tell us was 501. I know that's only half of what you need, but maybe process of elimination?

Could you hear it running over at your house? Hahahaha. I know my neighbors all came out to see what all the noise was!

Yeah, we can't live this close and not meet up. I'll give ya some directions over the weekend. Maybe we can hook up if you have time.

Been tweaking things mostly. Fixed the brake lights, left blinker, lower radiator hose, etc. Not a lot of picture worthy stuff. Just finished putting Optima battery in tonight. Put front grille loops in but still need the bezels in. Then can shoot some updates and post them. Trying to get ready for the Cassville, Mo car show on May 7th. Crossing fingers we can have it ready by then.
