Thanks! I ordered a complete oak bed kit from Mar-K today. I also got their polished stainless steel hidden fastener kit. Hopefully it will be here before the weekend so I can work on the bed some more this weekend.

Thanks Seth. I appreciate all of the information you've given me on the bed frame design. Hopefully I will be able to start welding it all together this weekend.

I'm thinking about mounting this in the bed floor for the gas filler:

Looks good. I have the same one in the bed of my old beater. So far so good, no leaks!

Re: Project "Shifted"

I threw the bed wood up in there just for mock up and to check my the bed frame. I've got to tweak my bed frame slightly, but it's pretty close. I've been trying to think of a color for the wood. I was thinking about just clearing it, but Buck68 suggested a white wash..........I think he might have won the prize ......

Your project ADD is almost as bad as mine!

At least I'm crossing stuff off the list. Finished a bathroom renovation yesterday.

Re: Project "Shifted"

That looks like the hot rodders "exploded view" of a C10, complete with the tools used on it... different than the engineer's "exploded view" (think LMC truck catalog)

In the local news today, the Blue Angles were practicing again and the sonic booms were shaking everything apart according to some of the local residents.
