Congrats and condolences, Eric. It has to be bitter sweet but what a beautiful way to honor your mom! I think you all have a strong family so lean on each other during the tough times.

I really like the original wheels on it too. Well deserved Best of Show!

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Wow, awesome news on the best Of Show trophy, congrats! I wanted so badly to go to the show but my bad back & hips said otherwise. I had been to the brothers show 5 times & the last couple were tough. Hard to navigate with a cane on uneven ground with gopher holes...lol... Oh well, maybe after surgery it will be easier. Keep up the great work on Tootsie, hope to see it in real life one of these days. I bet you mom is looking down just glowing

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

superflysteiny: I am building a 68 Chevy Truck and how do you protect the paint from doing the exhaust being built into the bedside? I like the side exhaust but not sure how to protect it? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Thank you guys it was a great time last weekend. As far as the side exhausts go. My billet cut outs keep the exhaust off the truck. I have flex pipe between the main pipe and the exhaust tip. Also have heat barrier between the body and were the exhaust mounts to the billet rings

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Bittersweet sir, I know, but trust and believe GOD makes no mistakes about his angels. She has earned the right to meet him. I never really say RIP because she will live on through you all, her loved ones. Although gone, but definitely not forgotton. Therefore, RIP isn't applicable because everything you are, have become and will be...you owe it all to her everyday. So, she's still here...trust me. She's a very beautiful woman (notice I said "she is" not she was). GOD bless!!
