Thanks guys for the FYI, I noticed that when I bought the M/C, but eventually I will be goin' 3/4 ton. I have the system in the parts pile. Soooo, with that being said, I spent 32.00 on the rebuilt M/C...kit was 20.00, Maybe tomorrow the parts from Inline Tube will be here.

Thanks 70 Suburban for the heads up, I left the nuts on the studs loose to remind me something goes there...Post #879 shows this

These posts are whats great about this board...Like working under a microscope and 60,000 people lookin' thru the view finder, and I'm the petrie dish

Got my parts from JC and Tynee, Thanks Guys your the best. Also got a great lead on seat brackets for my utility buckets, more to follow

Re: PO has me PO'd

Well, apparently my In Line Tube order has been floating around Pa. between Lewisburg and Bethlehem for a week, wrong zip code. That's fixed, s/b here fri...

Placed an order for my front headlite harness from M&H, mods to include...Hi and Low beam relays, Alt. pass. side w/ SI hook up. I have to send my engine harness back so the can add a 12 volt source to it. Asked about why they use a pink wire instead of red, it turns out that pink indicates a keyed source as opposed to red which is a constant source of 12 volts, learn something new everyday

We all know you're strait, so it doesn't matter

Sounds like my wife...60 days is more than she would give me, looks like a deal

Thanks Tim, I keep going backwards, I'm supposed to be working on the motor. M&H should be sending my harnesses back next week. Maaco called me today, fenders are done, first time they stayed tacky so he had to redo them

I feel your pain. I have gotten where I do all my own part research at home and then just go in asking for the specific part number. Seems like I don't make as many mistakes as some of those guys, and that's saying A LOT!

Re: PO has me PO'd

Gonna take a little break for a while, had some holes bored in my body yesterday(not the tub) and pending their
outcome....weeeellllll we will see. The one on my right hand hurts the most, and I don't want to get any rust or grease in it. So I'll just sit back, gather parts, and talk to you all

Short break, I hope! Amazing what turns these builds take. So, please post up lots of pics. and info., so I'll have something to do in boredom

Re: PO has me PO'd

Well, just got my seat tracks for the utilities from Low'nSlow. Very clever to wire the whole thing together in case the box breaks open, smart guys on this board. The shop rags were a bonus, nice surprise! Thanks Doug. Now I can use a drivers side for the passenger(don't want the seat to flip forward)
Since the bolt pattern is longer by 3" I can use the shorter bucket seat holes to mount up an alum. plate as an underfloor stiffner
The three of us will get busy cleaning and painting, maybe this project will go faster with the extra help

Re: PO has me PO'd

Modified M&H wire harness showed up yesterday, it has a green wire marked halagen lights, don't know what that is all about. Has relays for high and low beam, wired for SI Alt. and now has a fusible link that it didn't have before. Ordered the M/C Booster locally again, we'll see if they get it rite
