Judging by the pic on LS1TECH I'd say it's a good place for a pic of the wife

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

They look like the 'Street Scene' brand you see in magazines & on-line. Is that how they shipped or did you get them covered on your end?

I have the same seats. When I bought them they were Steel Horse, but that company went out of business or was bought by someone else.

Steel Horse..... That's what they were. I guess I was thinking Steet Scene because it was a SS advertisement.

sandblasted/painted my headlight buckets, installed new halogyen lights, with new trim rings.....installed my new door handles, and the underdash A/C heat system (still need to route the ducts to their proper spots), and installed the A/C vents....

Man that truck looks clean Don. You should be proud! I'm not usually a big fan of black(it's not easy to make a black truck look straight) but I'd say you've pulled this one off perfectly!

Re: my official 68 shortstep ls1 thread (lots of pics)

not to much progress here.....
got the matching dark grey dash pad installed, the polished machined aluminum radio opening, and the rear tail lights installed.....
im working on the A/C heat control face plate....the classic auto air one was small and cheap looking....so a new one that'll fit the opening is being made.....here is a sneak peak at it getting modeled.

If you would bring that thing to the Midwest All Truck Nationals, in Kansas City next month, I would pay your entry fee into the show. I have been trying all Summer to get to Tulsa to see it and have not been able to get free. Come see us at the show.
