Yeah, I think you are right. Need a new side profile shot for sure.

Good luck and keep on pushin'. From experience, we can attest that it gets very discouraging at times....especially when this was supposed to be a 2 yr max build. Double your budget and time and you'll be about right.

Good luck!! The show was at Rogers. Heartbeat of the Ozarks club put it on. Lots of nice cars and trucks!

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go

Oh man, I wish I'd stuck around a little longer today! I didn't recognize the truck, it's been awhile since I checked in on your thread. I was making my way over to talk with you today and you were loading up to go to the judging line (big dude, son was pushing an orange stroller and just about ran into you LOL). Your cam sounded AWESOME and the truck looks great.

I brought my truck but got around too late for any kind of good parking spot so we just walked around and looked.

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go

Looks outstanding. I have to go back through the thread now to see how you made that brake booster mount up close now. I printed the pics of your engine compartment so I can try to emulate it, at least to some degree. The only thing I'd knick you for on judging is the holes in the roof ceiling for the mirror that is now on the windshield. Definitely one of the nicest trucks on the board.

Looked back and found it. Was that a new rod from the brake pedal to booster? If so, remember where from? Did the brakes work good? Someone questioned it because they had problems with their set up. Was the pedal arm re-drilled for a new position for the push rod?

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go

Wow! Truck looks GREAT! Wish I would have known they were having a show in Rogers yesterday.... Dang it.

Hey, can you or anyone on here help? I am trying to figure out the washer / rubber sequence in mounting my core support. Do you know a source where I can find the right sequence? I ordered the hardware for a 68 so that's correct, but what goes where? there are 3 thick steel washers and 2 slightly thicker rubber bushings (a little over 1/4 inch).

Thanks so much for any help!
