you bet their rare.
as far as i know, around 250-260 SD's with a 4 spd were ever made.
keep kicking myself in the butt for selling my sport deluxe....mind ya, this was back in the '80's when "musclecars" were still fairly cheap to buy. got an offer too good to pass, plus a '68 gmc 910 custom cab was also thrown in the deal. i belive it ended up down in the valley at the big city, vancouver

One of these are what I have always wanted. I mean always, like back when I could afford one. My main interest in cars stops at '67 and the Chevelles were my favorite '67. Only thing better would be a Beaumont, for being different

very nice cars but for me,i always preferred the 66 Chevelle's and Beaumonts to a 67,never ever had a 66 or 67?lots of nice cars but never a Chevelle?i did go,a long time ago,to see a 67 fullsize Pontiac conv advertized with a 427.i thought it's a long shot but in Canada, they did exist so off we went to Kingston,Nova Scotia,a couple hours away,in winter to see this Pontiac.i had to shovel about 8 tons of snow off the car to get to it and the hood open.when i did get there,it was a 427 but a dump truck motor from a C-60 Chevy dump truck.a wasted trip but you gotta go look?i never did take any numbers down from the car or know at that time what they should have been but i always wondered if the guy was trying to pull a fast one or really didn't know?i'd like to think he didn't know?

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Many guys probably thought back then a 427 was a 427. The internet has educated car guys much better these days.

I took this picture a few weeks ago. Truckload of green beans heading to Hanover Foods for canning. Actually, they sell frozen vegetables, too

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

well this has been a day.i thought i'd have a submission for "What you didn't do to your truck today"?i have been doing some maintenance on my 67 Impala wagon, long overdue.i have a guy wanting to buy it so i thought it should be up to snuff,if i decide to sell.i have the glove box and all the heater controls out,the radio and some ductwork as well trying to find the reason for no heat?.i picked my wife up at the airport on Sunday from a week away visiting her folks, her sister was there as well and her 2 kids.well everybody has covid?my wife rode home in the back seat, both of us with masks on but close quarters after 2 hours?we slept in different bedrooms and of course yesterday after coming in from the shop,i told her i didn't feel well, out came the tests and i was negative but this morning positive.my head feels like a beachball.i never went near the shop, tomorrow is another day but i will have to feel alot better or i'm staying indoors.this evening when i was fixing a little something to eat,i looked out the front window and there's a young boy deer there with his main squeeze, looking pretty contented.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Stopped to check this 70 out today. 292 gone, replaced with a SB, condition unknown. Cab has major rust. Doors no good. Hood is very straight. Tailgate in good shape. no Dana, has an HO in back. Don't need another project, but I might pull the trigger depending on the price.

I'm sorry to hear that, Greg. I hope the beach ball doesn't pop, just loses air gradually but not too gradually. I guess the deer are thinking, "The old man hasn't been coming out. Let's enjoy his nice yard

Depends on price I guess, but I think you need another project. Lowball on it and if you get it you get it, and you'll be dollars ahead on what it needs

yes, these are cat pictures I took. Before you judge me, let me tell you the real reason I took these yesterday. I know a very sexy fine lady who identifies as a cat mommy and I'm working the cute kitty angle, ok? Can't blame a guy for trying. But also, this is Elvis, the coolest cat. I've been doing work for quite a few years on this gal's house and she picked up Elvis as a kitten last winter. He's been very different from the get go. For one thing, very friendly. He wants to go where I go. He's my buddy. I was working on a door in this room so he got up on the desk and took a nap, just to be in the same room. I had to hammer on something and it woke him up. Just a kool kat if ever there was one

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

My better half planted these crazy looking beans this spring and this is the last of them. Great tasting! After they're cooked the purple is gone and they look just like pasta.

Which messes with my simple mind, as my mind thinks I'm eating pasta but, it tastes like beans.

I hope to see that. At this show were a number of creations. This small power unit someone put the horse head on and the exhaust comes out of the nostrils. With those red pupils and the smoke it had a demon vibe about it. I didn't hang around long enough to find out

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

I picked up the little mirror at an estate sale last year. The sale had a garage with a South Bend lathe and some tooling that had already sold but this little mirror was on the shelf above the lathe. I thought that would be handy for my lathe.

Fast forward to last Sunday when I needed a mirror and I grabbed it. Afterwards I actually looked at it and realized it is quite old. Now I'm not sure I want to put it back in the tool box.
