Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
Are those the stainless trim rings from Wheel Vintiques as well? Or factory GM from OBS truck? Looks like the rings that were factory on a 88 I had at one time. Ive got a full set of the Ford 16x7 wheels on now, but considered going with a 8 inch wide wheel on rear (tough to find salvage 16x8). I like a wider/slightly taller tire on the rear of a 2 wheel drive, especially on a 3/4 ton with a big block. It used to be common to run wider off road tires on the rear of 2 wheel drive. Guess I am showing my age. |

They are OEM OBS from the stock skinny wheels.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
I’m looking for some 16” steelies. Anyone know about the US Wheel OE series? They offer powder coating in a Sky White color for $35/wheel, but I’m not sure how that stacks up to the factory color.

This is the route I took. I had them powder coated as Coker didn't offer them in white.

Re: 8 lug wheels - what's on YOUR truck?
My 70 C/20 originally came with 16 x 6.5" rims with 265/75/16 Back Country A/T tires.
Swapped those out for 16 x 7 F#rd rims with 265/75/16 Michelins and the appropriate hubcaps.
