I hate when that happens! And,I had an opinion.Who looks at the date/year?If it`s at the top,I figure it`s current.Ah hell, here it is anyway. Those who can spend $28 grand on a plaything don`t need to think that much about it.It`s called expendable cash. It`s those priviledged few that help bring the bottom up for us average guys.Good for seller, bad for buyer.

Dang, I need to start paying more attention to the dates! But, I agree, the suburban was worth whatever he can get for it (or got for it!). A lot of people don't realize how much time and money go into this restorations/creations. I have a 1948 Chevy Truck that I built and if I can get $40K for it(http://www.sgsauto.com/ocr/condition...G=EN&MID=84368
), I will probably just about break even on it. I'm sure there are some people who think that is a ridiculous price, but I can show you receipts. Does that make it worth $40K, no, someone showing up at my door with cash in hand does. If he got $28K, more power to him.

Rob, I agree totally, the PO that had GQ before me had 28K in it (Receipts)
I paid 10K only because no one was in the market at that time for that $$$,
I have since put another 5K in it since I have owned it, is it worth 33K now?
No, but to the right person maybe, I have been offered 15K twice and didn't
take it, maybe I'm But then again you guys already know that.
