Jet Ski. . . took me a minute. The Jet Ski was the guinea pig. It all started with an unfortunate accident when it jumped off the trailer and put a hole in the hull. In the process of fixing the hull I decided to just paint the entire thing.

Yes it does go green, blue, red, light blue, yellow, purple and white. There is also a setting where it will cycle through the colors.

Not much, I'm such a slacker. I worked on it a little bit today. I've mostly been trying to sell one of my other trucks so I can get funds for other stuff. Work has been really slow; I only worked 20 hours last week, but this week was better. You'd think I could find some time for the truck, but the house and yard need serious attention from the last four years of projects.

Re: Project ''Second Time Around''

Today I worked on the wiring harness. Since my truck has a clutch, there is no way to move my harness sideways, over and up, unless I want to move the clutch master cylinder - which isn't going to happen--so I did manage to notch the fire wall enough where I was able to recess the entire thing in about 3/4 of an inch which will give me enough room to get the wheel well in there and room to turn.

Re: Project ''Second Time Around''

For the last two weeks I had way to much time off (No work) and have kept busy at home getting all the things I been putting off around the house. I did find some time for the truck removing the helper bags, spare tire brackets, and cleaning up the rear frame. This truck is going to be on the back burner for awhile, lack of funds. But if you know me I'll find time for it soon.

Thanks. I've been collecting materials for years now from demo jobs for years. A few years back I saved some heavy gauge fence posts. This weekend I built a car port on the side of the house out of that. So far I'm into it $25 bucks for the cement for the posts, just need to buy the roof matirial. The good thing is I'm 6 months ahead of schedule on all the house projects from all the time off. Right now I can't justify spending any money on toys.
Good new is my company just landed a 6 month job to start the end of this week.

Re: Project ''Second Time Around''

This week I ordered a super-c-notch and spent Saturday welding it in. I spent a little more time and boxed the other side and ends.

As some of you know the super-c-notch sticks down below the frame. I think that looks like crap so I raised it up to meet the frame. It also gave me an extra 3/8's of an inch.

Thanks. I am a ways away from driving ''legally'' on the streets, but that won't stop me from taking a few test runs. If you would like to see any of my other trucks, I'll be at Taylorsville Days car show June 26.

Re: Project ''Second Time Around''

Not much this weekend just put the 22's on for fun. These are not the wheels I am going to run, too big. I'm looking into a set of 20's. I like driving low and steering also. I originally bought these wheels for this truck, but they work much better on my Suburban.

I'm going to spend the next few weekends working, but that should mean more money for toy's.

Man, that blows. Ignorant drivers, man. I hate 'em. I would almost bet they're going to total it, though. But if you love the truck, buy it back and fix it anyhow. My '91 was totalled in '01, but I got it fixed.

Thanks for the support. Your truck turned out really nice. I looked for this truck for two years and jumped when I found it. The insurance adjuster is stopping by tomorrow so we'll see what he says. I'm already planing the rebuild.

That is so true. I guess we all go through something like this at one time or another.
