Help!

David the only place to put request for parts in the classifieds area. To start a post in that area you must be a subscribing/paying member of the board.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

Here are my two The green 70 and Black 69. The 69 ended up being a parts truck for the 70 due to it was in a worse shape than what I first thought. In the end I'll have a 70 Short Fleet with a new crate 350 and a rebuilt Turbo 350. The paintand trim scheme will be close to what the current black 69 has, but probably in a dark emerald green and look a lot better when you get up close .

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

You gota put a Duramax Diesel motor in the 4 door with the Duramax badges on the truck. That would be just a hit.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

My Crew Cab project (currently in paint)

I had all the stuff to do that at one time. a 3dr burb that was already cut behind the 3rd dr where the previous owner was going to shorten it. I bought it and was going to mate it with the back of cab from an extra cab I had. Then stretch the frame of the standard cab 4x4. Plans were to drop in a duramax, chip and alison trans. then love every time I went to the dunes with all by buddies in there 4dr f350's........ ahh the dreams that never come true.

Due to money and situations at the time I scrapped it all since there was no where to keep it.

Nice truck! love to see what it looks like now!

rkzappa,
You need to be a site supporter to post WTB (Want to Buy) posts. $25 bucks but the best $25 bucks you will ever spend. You will also want to post them in the appropriate section....classifieds.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

This is not my Ride yet but the guy who has it is in my Car club (Philadelphia Modifiers).
He is looking to sell this truck because he bought it cheap I mean cheap he will let me have it for $27,000 I saw all the original reciepts for this truck it cost over 75,000 to build.

I was in the process of building 1 myself when this came along so I decided to just do the 68 short step as original BBC A/C Auto.

So guy's give me some input should I go for it this thing is freakin scary fast
dynoed at 1100 horsepower 1970 LS6 crate motor bored .060 over all the best parts money can buy and built professionally 18k in the paint alone close to 20k in the motor and trans.

Sorry if the pics don't do it justice I was overwhelmed when I saw it so I didn't get to many pics just to hear the motor is like well you know!!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

I picked this 1972 Cheyenne up here on the parts for sale forum. It has a knock in the engine and needs a paint job. After tear down I decided to go with another engine and it is bolted in at present but waiting on some parts to finish it up. The plan is to get it put back to the original colors (yellow and medium olive) and get the seat done in hounds tooth. It will then be my daily driver.
