Trucks looking awesome. Where'd you get your lowering setup from? I'm looking for one for my truck. Hoping my 250 runs like yours, if it does it looks like it'll be fun to drive.

Gah! What is that horrendous gold thing on the front bumper?!

Aside from that, thing, you have an awesome truck and the drop is killer. It has a lot of character and just that perfect look, keep at it.

The lowering kit is a RFW original. Cut a round and half off the front and heat to suit! It ended up being a 3/5 drop and it still rides pretty good. Anything lower they start to bottom out too easy. I wouldn't do this on a nice truck, but for my beater its fine. Cost of mod: $0.00!

The funny part is that there are a GT sticker and a Georgia Bulldogs sticker on the rear window! They both gotta go, 'cause I Roll with the Tide!

I got a cool and off the beaten path wheel and tire combo coming for it, so stay tuned!

White wagon wheels do look great when you put a trim ring on them and try to make them look like ralleys!!! Other than that........they are used as rims to coil air hoses on and keep frames rolling around here.

Re: Project LEFTOVERS!!

Without further ado, here are the new wheels. I wanted something I've never seen before, and I think it has great look. I bought the wheels for $100 (thanks uncle and southern parts!) and I paid $140 out the door for 275/60 Mastercraft rear tires. So counting the valve cover gasket when I set the valves, hubcaps (thanks steelhorse) and paint for the wheels, my rolling total is up to is up $1270.

There are more pics and specs here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=291007

Re: Project LEFTOVERS!!

I fixed the the black spray painted area on the door with royal blue, Chrysler Engine blue, and Hot Rod White rattle cans. It blended in great matches very well! The first pic is the before shot and others are the after.
I'm thinking about fixing the rockers, doing a shop truck door logo and calling her done!

The paint fix actually looks really good. I know if I'd try to pull that off it would've looked like a two different shades of blue and white glob on the door

As for the Tide, as long as it isn't blue, orange, and have a u and an f involved I can usually tolerate it. It'll be interesting to see what Saban can make happen this coming season...but I ain't sure he's ready for my Bulldogs!!

I kept think this will either work, or let me know I need to start sanding!

If ya'll are playing like you were at the end of last season, I don't know if anybody in the country is ready for the Bulldogs. I know Leslie sure is glad he had to the play the Vomiteers in the SECCG instead of ya'll!

Re: Project LEFTOVERS!!

Really not an update, just wanted to say that I'm still driving and enjoying the old girl. I'm still at less than $1300 total on the build and still trying to decide what door logo I want to go with. I had some work done on my '69 today, and I drove this truck to pick it up. I left this one at my buddy's shop, and caught a ride to come back get it a little while later. He said in the short time I was gone, 3 people stopped and asked what he wanted for it. He restore old cars and truck and usually always has something for sale, and the people thought it was his. He joked that he should trade me out of it and put his shoo logo on it and use it as parts runner.
