I looked into doing this to a 14 bolt years ago. I just left the drums on it. I might use this kit

No problem, just some hydraboost food for thought. When I was trying my brakes out hard for the first time after the hydraboost swap, I went to a big open vacant parking lot where sears used to be in the local mall. I went across the parking lot at about 35-40mph and hit the brake pedal moderately hard. It locked all four tires up and stalled the engine out. (It re-fired when I released the pedal, Ive got a 4speed) That was with old used front pads and rotors, and new rear 3.5 (the big 14 bolt brakes) shoes, wheel cylinders, etc and who knows how old used drums. It will still lock them up just as easy if I try, some 10-15K miles later.
