On Saturday I drove to basically Kenton area and hopped the light rail for the 2 stops to get to the expo. The rain this year made those fields a mess for even a decent 4x4.
Wow, light rail from Hillsboro must have taken forever. Agree with you that it is getting more sketchy to ride also.
If you are going to go next year, hit me up because I drive from Hillsboro also. Would be no problem to have you ride with me.

It took about 50ish minutes to get out there. The worst was the Rose Garden. They were kicking off the homeless at that point and most were getting very crazy as they did it.

Thanks for the offer, I usually have a space selling stuff with my grandfather and I have vendor parking, but this year didnt have enough for a space and thought those fields were gonna be a muddy mess. Didnt help to see a video of a buddy stuck in that field on Weds. and needed to be pulled out.

I like the Monroe swap meet or even a couple they have down in Puyallup, more manageable.
I'm in the opposite camp. I live about 4 miles away from PIR so it has been my home swap meet since 1989. Every time a go to a different swap meet at the end of the day I'm disappointed there wasn't more to see.

I've got more photos to share but I'm currently experiencing some technical difficulties. Hopefully I can work through them soon.

Re: Portland Swap Meet Pics

Here are some more as promised. Some are outside the meet. I thought the SSR set up to flat tow the roadster was cool.

Re: Portland Swap Meet Pics

The Ochre truck was cool. Factory BBC, Longhorn, with A/C, Cheyenne, & cargo light. And who knows what else I wasn't able to see the SPID. The guy in the next booth said had sold.
