Those look pretty nice. Are they just clear LEDs? Did not know how a red LED would show up under a red lens. Do you just solder an old bulb for the pigtail? i might have to consider some of those. Just down on my project list though.

ksucatz, The led's are crystal clear, but they emit the correct wavelength to achieve red color. So, these brake lights are lit up with pure red light as opposed to the white light from the factory bulbs. Makes for a more pure red brake light. The reverse lights are the same crystal clear looking, but emit white light. As far as the pigtails, as stupid as it sounds, i destroy perfectly good bulbs

Have you made any of the Cargo lights into a split system setup. Meaning a center LED brake light with outer Cargo light setup, on each side of the brake light under the same lens.

N2GMTrux, I'm currently doing a red/white bi-color setup, meaning each led puts out two different colors. That way it still functions as a cargo light and a third brake also. I have run into a problem with which resistors to use, but i think i have solved that problem. I have thought about doing alternating rows of reds and whites to simplify the process. I can do absolutely anything you guys could ever want within reason. I mean, i can do it all.

Unfortunately i didn't. I told people about them but i didnt think ahead and make extras. I actually sold the pair of brake lights right out of my truck Had to steal the bulbs out of ole' blue to make it home

How many LED's in the turn signals?. Do you have a pic showing the board without the lenses?. Did you skip every other row?. Reumster used to do these in the shape of a bowtie that looked pretty cool.

70c10 Here's a picture of a pair without lenses. I pack as many as i can possibly fit. Yes i still do the every-other-row method, i haven't found a good method for dimming them yet.

Justin, just wanted to give ya another atta-boy. The ones you sold me are great! Can't wait to finish the bed and get it on the road. (wanna show them around) If the back-up lights and the front turn/running lights are as good, "YOU DA MAN!" Working on getting you a front turn signal lense and socket for the GMC. A pair of reverse lights are $50 and GMC's are $70. Shipping is $8 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. I don't have any flashers in stock, i usually let you guys pick those up. The ones i use can be bought at any O'Reily's Auto parts for about $9. The problem arises when LED front turn signals are used in conjunction with LED brake/turn signals. There just isn't any electrical flow through the system to trip the flasher. A "no load" flasher is necessary in this situation, but you just have brakes and the O'Reily's flasher should work just fine.

Brake Lights are $90
Back ups are $50
Turn signals are $40 a piece and can only be used behind custom deluxe or 85 chevy van lenses, and require a little wiring on your part to install.
Shipping is flat rate $8 anywhere in the lower 48
Yes the front turn signals are yellow/amber. The back are Red.
I'll need to know which style sidemarkers you are using so that i know which style to make.

I haven't tried using white LED's behind them yet, mainly because whites are more than three times the cost of red LEDs. The red LEDs create a more Pure RED light behind red lenses, I would imagine the whites would make a more pink color as compared to RED/RED, but mainly the cost of the LEDs themselves.

Ahh "Caddy-Style"!!!! Yea I can do that, but the price will be a little more because they will require more resistors and planning. I would also need a 50% down payment because they are one-off's and i most likely wouldn't be able to resell them if payment wasn't recieved. I've had to start requiring 50% ahead on one-off's because I've made some and got stuck with them.

Yes i plan on making a set for another board member within the next few weeks. He is sending me a lense and housing so that i can make him a pair. I'm not sure on pricing untill i have a lense in hand though.
