well the cop told him they were required, this was about 7 years ago though. unless they have changed the law recently you can have blue lights on your vehicle as long as they are not flashing. you can pretty much have any color as long as it does not flash, everything except for red. i know this because i went head to head with the city prosecutor over a ticket. of course i lost but all i wanted was to get my word in.

Brother, I'm not going to argue with you. Your cop was an idiot. He obviously did not know the statutes specifying lighting requirements.

As a matter of fact, here's the code that specifiys the gospel of lighting according to Texas lawmakers.

If you'll read it, you'll find it confirms what I'm saying.

im not trying to argue with you, i could care less wether my reverse lights work. mine only come on when i put in neutral. im just telling you what i heard, and by no means is he "my" cop, i cant stand the pigs here in garland.
