the Trailer came factory with a rease hitch on the back for just this sort of thing. This combo is still smaller than a semi and this is way way lighter than what he has had on it b4.

The folks I used to go boating with pulled their big Bayliner, with Jet Skis behind that, with their Squarebody suburban.

Na...I haven't towed it since early october but I did come up I-5 from Sac to Portand.

GEMP- I do have tons of pictures of the inside during the overhaul, but since it might be getting off the thread topic I won't post them. If you want you can PM me and I'll send you a link.

Re: Pics of squares pulling a camper?

Finally I get a pic of my setup. This is my '85 K30 with our '70 Aristocrat Lo-Liner 17ST, the trailer is a project but everything works and it gets the whole family out camping so it's the best $750 I ever spent. We usualy pull it with our '01 Yukon XL 2500 but I had to move it in order to put my '66 project into the portable garage for the winter.

I don't think I've ever seen this thread before!

In an album I've got a snapshot of my old green K20 with the Holiday travel trailer taken somewhere up in the Yukon in 1977.

I will try to take a picture with the phone and transfer it to the PC someday soon.

1995 Nomad 5th Wheel, I believe it was a 26 foot. This was pulled with the 383/4L80E combo.

Re: Pics of squares pulling a camper?

AWESOME Guys ...we revived an 11 year old thread . I Greatly appreciate ALL replies...I still haven't taken pictures yet ,but what I have is a nice 1985 3/4 ton Chevy, and want to pull a 5th wheel trailer . So it looks like my frame is 34 inches wide , and my 5th wheel hitch is 42 inches wide. It looks like I will need to buy or fabricate brackets to bolt on frame . when I take pictures of my hitch etc . you will see. For now ,I appreciate your help , perhaps in the future we can pm and exchange phone numbers to talk as needed thanks Ben
