Re: West TX Z build up thread

Nice! I may go up there in Sept or Oct. I think I may take my truck. It needs a good shake down!

I'm looking for an engine locally that I can swap into the truck. I plan to keep my exhaust set up though. I like the deep rumble sound.

Re: West TX Z build up thread

Your truck looks good. It is amazing what some simple detailing can do for the look of a truck like that one. Your old Eagle alloy wheels looked amazing after the cleaning and polishing.

Keep it up!

Re: West TX Z build up thread

Another angle.

The Eagles looked real good polished/cleaned up. Thomas has them now on his truck and to me they look 100+ times better on his. I'm going to rock the rallys untill I bag it. I'm not a fan of big wheels at stock height.

Yeah, the rallys look good. I'm seriously thinking on trying out the 18" rallys.

Very nice looking truck you have! Just curious how you moved the bumper forward? Did you just drill new holes or cut and weld the brackets? thanks

The bumper will sag if you dont. Hope that helps!

Took about an hour tops.

Tools:

Power Drill
Power cord
1/2 Steel bit
Steel Marker/Crayon/Chalk

No welding was needed!!! Just remove, alignment of the bumper and truck, draw holes, drill, and bolt back on.

Tip: Make sure the tailgate opens fully before you start drilling. Fitment/practice makes perfect.
