Re: US Tom

In the last nine months since I posted, I had sold "Tom" to a friend of mine that fell in love with it. As often happens, he has encountered some personal challenges and doesn't have the money or time to play with this and he asked me if I could buy it back. So I did, and that is the reason for blowing the dust off this thread.

I'm going to take Al's advice and fix him up and flip him. I don't know how I'm going to get this done given that I'm right in the middle of the Biscayne build and I have a Super that I need to get running and sell too. It'll all work out I hope.

I've decided to keep the Biscayne, but need to sell this guy, the Super 350, and need to make a decision between the 71 Cheyenne BB and the 72 Super 402.

So, I'll get Tom back this weekend, then it's off to Kyle's place to get it all one color. I originally planned to teach myself to paint on this one, but I need to get some help to get this done so off to his shop it goes.

Re: US Tom

You've read my other threads - I can't stick to a plan for longer than 10 minutes. My plan right now is to turn it over to you then figure out my next move. I haven't even settled on a color yet, ferchissakes.

We should get together and collaborate. I've got ideas, but I welcome suggestions too.

Glad you like that line of thought. Shop truck with some upscale feel to it - satin with some nice chrome or stainless to offset it.

Something along these lines...

Re: US Tom

Red and black always look good they are your safe choices.. The dark green would look cool with a darker beige interior.. If you went black I think if you painted the interior satin red that would look awesome also. Idk about the blue lol!!

Three builds at the same time isn't the best way to go about it - at least for me and my resources. I can't wait to see what color I go with either!

I think you need to bring Tom and the 71 so I can knock them both in the head

Carter Hickman Design - wouldn't copy it but it sure is nice...

I dropped the truck off at Kyles shop yesterday, so the transformation begins.

You going to document this one Kyle? I know taking pics gets in the way of working but you know how we like them.
