Thank you, I really appreciate that. I'm sure I will have a few questions sooner or later. I have been through your thread 2 or 3 times. I love how your truck came out. I bought a weld in kp c notch but I am about to scratch that and get a step notch and a 4 link..... Gotta love this hobby!

The E brake cable will be ok where its at. I agree that those hollow blocks look a little edgy, but they seem to be pretty common these days. I don't know that the cast ones are any stronger, but they look like they are.

Cool, thought so. Yeah i'm debating on whether or not to go the 2x3 tubing route or completely scratch the rear suspension and get a step notch and bridge kit with 4 link from AVS...

Re: Bagged 82 swb

Yeah, I notched the rear. Put new shocks on all four corners. Ran air lines into the cab. Still running schrader valves for now, I don't drive it much. I am actually going to sell it here in the next couple weeks.. I have been saving money and collecting a few parts for a 63-66 project. Im on craigslist everyday trying to find the right 63-66 swb. Here is where it sits now. I have stock 15s on the front. I have to get new rubber on the two front 20" steelies in the next week. Let me know if you want pictures of anything else. There is air in the front in these pictures, the rear is dumped.

can you get me a little better picture of the drop block installed. i am running into the same problem right now. i am thinking that the aluminum block is not sitting very uniformly in that setup? also is everything lined up with a pin of some sort? or is it simply just clamped together with the u bolts?

I actually just sold it. It did not sit uniformly but did have a pin that fit into the flip kit piece and also had a spot on the bottom that fit I've the bolt that held the leaf pack together. It wasn't going anywhere. I was going to fab a 2x3 square tube that fit uniformly but had to part ways with it. I'll try to dig up some pictures for you. I would just do it right the first time and get the 2x3 tubing. Look at made2drags build if you need some reference pictures. I'm sure he would also answer any questions you might have.

19003002. That's the product number. It cost $250 plus the ride from Ride Tech. Included Firestone f9000 bags, fittings and all necessary hardware. Very straight forward install. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I'll miss it but I have some pretty cool plans for this next truck. Now I just need to find the right one. I'll definitely start a build thread once the ball gets rolling.

Quality product. You will enjoy it. Do you have a build? If not you should start one. I would like to watch your progress.
